My raspberry pi runs openelec. That works fine, but i can't figure out how to turn it on again after the shutdown. The pi will throttle if it reaches 80 c, and i'm well below that.

However, with the pi 4, the 64 bit version should be faster. I have been running my raspberry pi 4 full out 100% cpu usage on all 4 core for a month using mkp224o to crunch v3 onion addresses and my temperature hovers around 65 c, occasionally a few degrees lower or higher. However the raspberry pi 3 and 4 are 64 bit boards.

The raspberry pi 2 only supports 32 bits, so that's an easy choice. At idle speed it drops to 40 c. The only way i can make it start again is by pulling out the power plug and plug it in again, but that cannot be the only way to do it.

According to the raspberry pi foundation, there are limited benefits to using the 64 bit version for the pi 3 due to the fact that it only supports 1gb of memory;
